The FSC 600 (Flex Stacking Cell) is a standard product that is comprised of a stacker & destacker, with X-Y (NC) axes for part handling. This is a space-saving solution that links processes in a manufacturing line.

The work pieces are transported and presented in pallets that provide proper orientation, and protection. An NC controlled Palletizing Unit (PU) is used to align the pallet under a gantry and parts are unloaded from the basket to the machine tool.

Due to the FlexStackingCell, transportation distances and times are minimized as well as automatic management of work in process. In addition a variety of work pieces can be handled, and the largest number of buffer pallets can be organized in the smallest footprint. The FlexStackingCell provides a self-regulating organization of work pieces and a reduction of work in process. Furthermore, a reduction in throughput times will be realized as parts are always available on demand.
